How to create a QR Code for Google Reviews
Set up an automatic Google Review system in 2 minutes from your QR-codes.com dashboard.
Social proof is vital for every business today. When customers search for a new product or service, they also look at what others are saying about your brand online. In the US, over 90% of shoppers read online reviews before making a purchase, and 83% of shoppers rely on Google reviews as a research tool.
A local consumer survey conducted by Bright Local revealed that shoppers often search for the most recent reviews, so it's important to ensure that your business not only has existing Google reviews but also has ones relevant to this year.
Create a QR Code for Google Reviews in 2 minutes
Yes, you read that right. You can set up and download a QR Code for business reviews in a matter of minutes. Sign up or log in to your QR-codes.com dashboard and click on the dynamic QR Code tab.

Next, enter your business name and click on Google Review.

Use the map to search for and enter your business address or enter a service area if you don't have a physical office or store.

Here's the fun part. Start designing your QR Code and choose the colors and patterns for the external and internal patterns of your code.

Choose a contrasting color, gradient or a transparent background for your QR Code.

You can also upload a logo to appear in the center of your QR Code. We recommend uploading a square image of no larger than two megabytes (2MB).

Lastly, save your QR Code and test whether it links to the correct Google Review page.

Your page should link directly to a comment form, allowing others to add a star rating, message and relevant photos.

4 Tips for getting more QR Code scans
Now that your QR Code is set up, all that's left is showing it to your customers to get those glowing reviews. Your QR Code won't scan itself, so it's good to have a strategy to ensure that customers are aware of your new review tool.
Have a clear call-to-action
Every QR Code needs a good prompt. Add a short but clear call-to-action like: Scan to leave us a Google review, or We’d love your feedback–scan to let us know. Personalise the prompt to your brand's tone and style and place the text next to your code.
Frame it
The design of your QR Code is an extension of your brand experience. Dress it up, place it in a frame and use colors that remind customers of your business.
Test it on multiple devices
Before printing or sharing your QR Code, test it on:
Various smart phone devices
Different lighting conditions
Printed and digital formats
Make sure it loads quickly and takes users directly to the review box.
Place it in a popular spot
Where is the best place for your QR Code? Perhaps on your counter as shoppers check out, in a follow-up email or thank you card, on packaging or invoices, in a waiting area or building exit. Think of how your business is set up and which point would be most appropriate to inject your new QR Code.
